Therapeutic Yoga Class (monthly membership)
Our therapeutic yoga class introduce postures are particularly tailored to help you deal with particular pains around, e.g., the hip, back, shoulder, arms, and neck for those who have been suffering serious, chronic pains in those areas. This 30-minute yoga class focused on healing the body, relieving common pains and promoting relaxation within the body. We will also address any specific aliments those attending the class have as well.
Our Yogi teacher Adam Welch is an experienced Registered Yoga teacher who has been teaching therapist yoga for 15 years. Before teaching, Adam spent 6 months studying yoga at the Bihar School of Yoga in India. He got Yoga Alliance eRYT 200, RYT 500, and 1000 Hour Certified Yoga Therapist (IAYT Member) CYT (from Pranavinyasa School of Yoga).
The class is held from Monday through Friday, each morning at 6:30 AM to 7:00 AM, Vietnam Time (which is Sunday through Thursday, 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM EST). Class is conducted in English over zoom. The link to join will be sent by email after purchasing the class. You are welcome to attend as many of the weekday classes as you like for 30 days from the purchase of the membership.
Classes are also regularly recorded (so we ask you mute your mic once the class starts and especially when joining in late), and the recordings are made available as a part of the membership.
We suggest you bring the following supplies for the class:
- Yoga Mat (or alternatively some blankets, but try to make sure you have a surface on which you will not slip and on which you could comfortably kneel or lay)
- A yoga block which can be used as a support in various poses (rolled up or folded blankets or towels can also be used if a yoga block is not available)
- An quiet area, if available, with enough space to move your body (it does not need to be a large space, but enough room to lie down, and also occasionally swing the arms)
